 NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR 2010 HEART IN HAND AWARDS

It is with great pleasure that we announce the commencement of nominations for the 2010 Heart in Hand Awards. Do you know a volunteer, school or community that exemplifies the ideals of humility, integrity and respect for others? Manners of the Heart hopes you do, so we can honor them with our Heart in Hand Award and give them the recognition they deserve.

It is our mission to transform homes, school and communities, one heart at a time and to honor those who promote our ideals and are leading by example. Heart in Hand Award honorees are outstanding individuals or groups who are working to impact the lives of our children and adults by demonstrating self-giving behavior, kindness and respect toward others in all that they do.

Award Categories include: Volunteer, Classroom/School, Organization/Business and Community. Further information about nominations can be found by clicking here. The Heart in Hand Award nomination deadline is Monday, January 10, 2010. Nominations may be submitted by mail, email or fax. Email nominations to info@mannersoftheheart.org with Heart in Hand Award Nomination in the subject line. Nominations by mail should be sent to our home office address: Manners of the Heart, 215 Royal Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802. Our fax number is 225-383-3239.

The Heart in Hand Award Gala will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the LSU Rural Life Museum. We invite you to join us as we honor our Heart in Hand Award honorees and celebrate the mission of Manners of the Heart.
