Champion Moms Raise All-star Kids

 

Baton Rouge, LA(March 18, 2010): On Monday, March 29, Manners of the Heart Founder and Executive Director, Jill Rigby Garner, will be the keynote speaker at the Women’s Event for the 46^th Annual Governor’s Prayer Breakfast. The inaugural event for women will be held at Miracle Place Church (Baker, LA) at 6:30pm. The Champion Moms event will be one of three complimentary events to precede the annual Prayer Breakfast taking place on Wednesday morning, March 31. “The Governor's Prayer Breakfast is a statewide observance held annually near the opening days of the Louisiana Legislature. Its purpose is to seek God's guidance for all leaders and citizens of our State, and to strengthen ourselves for the journey as we try to live as a responsible community of faith.”

Champion Momsserves to bring women of the greater Baton Rouge area together, undivided by denomination, to find guidance and hope in their roles as “mom.” Acclaimed speaker and award winning author of Raising Respectful Children in a Disrespectful World and Raising Unselfish Children in a Self-Absorbed World, Jill Rigby Garner, will help women and moms of all backgrounds and ages as she encourages them in understanding their holy duty.

Women will leave equipped to:

• Prepare their children to be in the world and not of the world through “Heartwork Prayer.”
•  Protect their children’s hearts through the “Armor Prayer.”
•  Provide their children with the wisdom of God’s Word through “Twenty Years of Prayer & Scripture.”
